Ouch - None of it covered under warranty?

I managed to wangle my inlet hoses and and issue with my sunroof visor fixed on my extended warranty.

Worth trying...

Picked mine up this afternoon, wish I’d never bothered getting the recall work done now! Had to return it after driving approx 20 mins, the car now feels like it’s NA, no power at all, lumpy idle and hesitant on pulling off.
Tech seems to think it’s a blown gasket on the throttle body which means another strip down for investigation.

Mine came back like this - turns out during the work ‘something’ got into the oil feed pipe while they were changing the screens and lunched the turbo.

Unbelieveably I have received the recall letter yesterday, my car has been off the road for 8 weeks now. No idea how Audi are going to do this as they cant just change the parts & get the car going again. I have logged an official complaint with Audi Uk & the ombudsman, so will see what Audi they have to say when they can be bothered to get in touch.
Audi have to the worst I have ever dealt with.
Just a follow up, my vehicle has been into Audi for the recall work. Both turbos are damaged beyond repair due to the blocked strainers. New turbos have been ordered but they are on backorder with no delivery date. Audi haven't even bothered to offer a courtesy vehicle
So I have been without my car for 4 months & now possibley another god knows how long until it is fixed.
Just a further update I have managed to get a car out of Audi, after going mental at the customer complaints at Audi UK, it is from a hire company not the dealer. A nice Skoda Octavia Hybrid. My car is still in bits as the new turbos are now not due until the end of September. God knows what state my car will be in when i get it back as i have not laid eyes on it since May 18th.
I will be asking for the PCV to be checked following from the comments on here.
Still no sign of the turbo's arriving anytime soon, looks like I will be stuck in the hire car until Xmas.
Car is now sorn'd & the MOT has expired.

Hi all,

Finally had my recall completed after a delay for parts pushed it back a month. The dealer had the car for nearly 3 days (had a nice A5 S) as a courtesy car. Gutless 2.0 diesel though!
So all fine so far, had the PC valve replaced as explained on here in previous posts. Seemed to make sense.
The health check feedback made me chuckle when i collected my car. First thing noted "spark plugs overdue. Now they were replaced in Oct 21! Dont get me wrong if things need replacing then i'll get them done as im very particular on these things for my cars but 12 months since the plugs were replaced and 4k miles of use! come on really :bash: . Air filter (b*llocks) and rear diff oil change overdue. Well if they had bothered to look they can see that this has been done and was done in May of this year and is on the Audi online service portal :audibash:
Sometimes main dealers just dont help themselves when it comes to getting a reputation for ripping people off. I'll continue taking mine to the fantastic indie Thanks.

I understand you, sometimes they really could do more or even ask, luckily they changed oil for me when replacing strainer

Quick update after I had mine done by Notts Audi...

Notts Audi were superb. Had the PCV Valve, Check Valve and Control Valve replaced at the same with only a parts charge, no labour which was a pleasant surprise. They had the car for two weeks whilst they waited for parts and I had an A4 2.0 TDI which was ok. I also had a load of servicing work completed at the same time:

-Spark Plugs
-Diff Oils
-Break Fluid
-Pollen filter

Car feels great to drive but has been using a load more fuel. Anybody else had this?

I've also noted that the car has been misting up without AC on. Stick the AC on and it clears up. Again anyone else had this?

I've mentioned it to Audi so will see how thing progress but overall I was very happy with the service I received from Notts Audi.

Well after 6 months off the road I now have my car back. Everything appears to be as it should, Got the PCV valve done as well.
Audi have been a total disgrace from start to finish

I am guessing you have never owned a car without AC? That's what cars do if they haven't got AC or if you turn it off. You should never turn AC off, it just leads to premature failure. And the car mists up, too.

Exactly!, A common mistake people make is that they think AC just cools the air down, AC means Air Conditioning, Conditioning is dehumidifying the air also

I've owned the car for nearly 5 years and never had this issue occur before. The condensation was extreme when I first picked the car up post recall work. It seems to have cleared up now thankfully...

So you say air conditioning should be always on even in winter all year round?
