Are there any? Apart from remap that isn't available right now....

Have you spoken to MRC? I thought they had a solution for this car already? I would guess gutting the pre-cat would help too!

They can remap but cannot "flash" the chip, something to do with protocols and processor. I'm sure they be along shortly to correct me....

Anyone know of the reliability of potential remaps/piggyback in terms of whether the block can handle it? I read that the gains are fairly substantial (>400bhp) so I'd wonder if it would last.

There's a lot of speculation on the US forums that Audi have substantially understated the stock power, in which case the gains are not as much as they seem. There is a Article in this months Audi driver .. They fit a milltek and a MTM tuning box with dyno plots before and after ...
