RS6 C6 and RS6 C7 brake calipers interchangeable ?

Hello Gents, I'm trying to figure out if the brake calipers from RS6 C6 and RS6 C7 are compatible.
Based on my research over the internet it looks like that the brake calipers from RS6 C6 and RS6 C7 are pretty much equal.
The only visible difference is that the brake calipers for RS6 C7 are having balance weights.

So can someone confirm if those calipers are really interchangeable ?

Below are my findings

For both calipers the brackets are with the same Brembo part number 20.9747.14
Also the Brembo part numbers for brake calipers are the same: 20.8834.01 (left) 20.8834.02 (right)

The calipers are the same but the C7 caliper mounting brackets (and C7 discs) have different offsets to the C6 so, while just the C7 caliper alone would physically fit C6 discs off the car, the caliper mounting bracket would have to be customised to allow it to fit the C6 with the correct offset for C6 discs when fitted.

Can it be alterered with shims or would it mean machining some of the caliper mount away instead?

Yes the disks are having different offest. Looks like that I missed to mention what's my goal.
So I'm trying to figure out if the brake calipers from RS6 C7 can fit on RS6 C6 with disks for RS6 C6.
According to photos and part numbers the brake calipers should fit ... but that's just my assumption.
Can someone tell if the distance between the center of holes of miunting brackets are the same for RS6 C6 and RS6 C7

I may be able to measure the distance of the mounting holes next week, do i remember correct that they are alcon calipers with 420 mm disks?

if i get it right you have RS6 c6 calipers and disks and you want to fit them on RS6 c7?

Yeap the Ceramic setup is Alcon calipers with 420mm discs and the Steel setup is Brembo Calipers with 390mm discs.

@George I'm having A6 with 3.0TFSI therefore 347mm front disks ... and currently I'm trying to figure out if I can fit the calipers from RS6 C7 (the 6 pot Brembo).
As it looks like the RS6 C7 front brake setup can fit (including the disks) ... well it will be needed to use shims and longer bolts but that's not a big deal.
Also it will be needed to get wheelbearing housing from RS6 but luckily those are the same for VW Phaeton and Audi A8 D3 and can be found at pretty goodprices something like around 50 EUR per side.

p.s. Please excuse me for messing up with a standart A6 in the RS6 section.
