Had some serious fun with my mates Gen two 997T tonight....

To 100 he could pull 1/2 car on me, max... 150 kleptons onwards edged him every time and I mean EVERY time like I'm scared of shunting him I'm pulling on him so hard... 180 on, he just wanted to drive my car after that, I was gone!!
I'm probably not top of the list for entry into Heaven, but isn't it a better idea to keep that kind of driving for the track?? I will often exceed motorway limits here & there but have very rarely exceeded 100MPH on the public highway.

At those speeds i doubt very much you have either the skill or experience to be even close to in control. If you were lucky enough to be pulled over before killing a few people, you'd likely not see the outside of a prison cell for well over 5 years.

I don't judge people so each to their own, but a bragging story of 2 cars travelling/racing on a UK public highway at speeds in excess of 180MPH does not give rise to positive thoughts.
If I were in the UK then I would have to agree !
Furry muff, retract my comments then. Either hadn't spotted or didn't realise you were in Germany.

Having Ringed many times 8) , progress on German Autobahns & the general acceptance of speed & other driver awareness make rapid progress a different prospect over there.

No problem Paul, as you say, different mentality in Germany, etiquette is not a dirty word over there :(

best run ins: C6 RS6 with remap to Appox 650bhp.

-EVO 8, tuned to 500bhp. good upto 80, after that RS6 pulls away.

-Lucky enough to have egged on 2 new GTR's, again evenly matched upto 80/90 after that start pulling a gap.

-LP640, surprised to find he almost struggled to keep up, perhaps down to torque advantage??...and yes he was really giving it.

-quickest car ive encountered was a very rare Mercedes SL73 AMG, tuned by Lorinser. An old school merc but what a gorgeous car. I semi- floored it off a roundabout and didnt even clock him it was such a sleeper i just thought it was an old SL 500 or something, next thing i know he's Xenons on, up my tailgate, so i floor it and it was nose to tail upto the next junction. when we stopped at the lights he told me what it was and that he had around 600 bhp. Lovely car up close it oozed quality and the noise from his V12 was awesome. Off the line i couldnt lose him even tho he was rear wheel drive. At the next lights he did a nice burnout for me alongside and waved byebye.
