Yes Lee, the B6 S4 is drive by wire. My 04 plate is the KWP-2089. I would suspect your's will be too, but your Ross-tech software will tell you this when it does the initial handshake (top left hand corner).

For a B6 S4 you need at least a dual K-line cable. There are no CAN diagnostics on the B6, that was added on the B7 - which has dual K-line and CAN diagnostics. And the B8 has CAN diagnostics only.

Ok, I think this has been touched upon before but i can't find it. I have just bought a genuine Ross-Tech hex can bus and done the throttle body alignment and the reading is throttle drive angle sensor 1 14.7 and sensor 2 85.1 should one of these be 100 or is it the combined total that should be 100 (ie 14.7 + 85.1) in which case mine is fine.
