TPMS codes - Flat Batteries?

Post by RS6Steve » Thu Nov 26, 2009 2:42 pm

I believe these are tied to flat batteries in the TPMS sensors?

I don't want to spend a fortune on them if it could be something else. As will be fitting new boots next week.

01467 - Front Left Tire Pressure Sensor (G222)
53-10 - Supply Voltage Too Low - Intermittent
01468 - Front Right Tire Pressure Sensor (G223)
53-00 - Supply Voltage Too Low
01469 - Rear Left Tire Pressure Sensor (G224)
53-00 - Supply Voltage Too Low
01521 - Sensor for Tire Pressure
53-10 - Supply Voltage Too Low - Intermittent

All help appreciated

The batteries in the sensors are supposed to last 4-5 years, so if your car is 4 years older or more and still has the original sensors then you most likely need new sensors.
