No change on the DIS at all - i did wonder if it could be related to the cruise (haven't done anything to the lights) but the way I remember it was happening before I installed cruise. Still most likely explanation so far - as in chances are if theres something wrong with your car you were the cause of it...

I'll disconnect the cruise and see if that gets me anywhere.

no change after cruise disconnect - also checked ross tech and came up blank.
bugger...

please move if you think useful, although car clear of all fault codes (running vag com on a genuine cable)
