you need to reset the fault codes so you reset the ECU's adaptive memory as well just after you replace the MAF, otherwise it won't run right for a while...

Mine was miss behaving generally, most noticeable when cold, miss firing, jerky throttle response when pulling away, new MAF sorted this out totally.

If the airbag code comes back you will need a new side bag IIRC about £170 incl fitting, tried three times to get her's fixed , cleaner, connections etc ( dealer didn't even charge on one occasion !!) but had to pay up after a couple of months fiddling / waiting/ cleaning .

when you say reset the fault codes do you mean erase if they are present or is this another function?

car now feeling alot crisper throughout!

did the exchange deal at local dealers and was surprised to get part of the tubing too-- thought it would of just been the sensor itself.

need
to do a run now with new one fitted and will post both before and after readings on your other thread (the widely viewed euro block figures) when i get chance for future help for stock runners cus its bin a great help to me up to now! cheers.
