Help with this code

17774 - cylinder 4 ignition circuit : short to ground
P1366 - 35-10- - - Intermittent

Have also had same but with cylinder 6

Any Ideas

I had this, or similar on my car when i got it. cleared it an it never came back. I assumed it was one of the coil packs shorting to ground.

Check the connectors on the ignition amplifiers on top of the airbox. A disconnected coil pack can't throw a code because it's not connected straight to the ECU, the signal first goes through the power output stages(POS) or ignition amps.

Thats really helpfull. Never even thought about the fact that it would need to communicate back to the ecu. Easier to get to also...
