4GB SD Card for RNS-E - Valuemedia.co.uk
4GB SD Card for RNS-E - Valuemedia.co.uk
The Hama 4GB SD Card found (http://www.valuemedia.co.uk/4Gb_sd_card.htm) works fine with the RNS-E after it's been formatted to FAT32 and 4096 byte blocks (arrived with 32K blocks). Costs about £30 after delivery (2 days for my order).
Hopefully saves someone a bit of time, as other vendors seem to have supply problems of the non-HC 4GB SD Cards judging by the two cancelled orders I had.

I have a 4gb card which I have given up on as it did not play in the car. (now use 2gb instead). How do you format the 4gb as you mention in your post, as I will try and re-format!dubbers wrote:The Hama 4GB SD Card found (http://www.valuemedia.co.uk/4Gb_sd_card.htm) works fine with the RNS-E after it's been formatted to FAT32 and 4096 byte blocks (arrived with 32K blocks). Why not just buy more 2Gb cards. You can get 3 x 2Gb for the price of a 4Gb.

SDHC cards won't work in the RNS-E, only "normal" SD ones.Scoobysnack wrote:is this an HC SD card, or a normal one ? Hopefully normal?

Just right click the SD card driver letter - Select format, choose options as shown.oilman4345 wrote:I have a 4gb card which I have given up on as it did not play in the car. (now use 2gb instead). It does take the RNS-E a while to load a 4GB card. In my case 600 songs takes about 2 minutes.
