Afternoon all,

I want to get the girl serviced and at 54k, would like to change the plugs. Had a search and it seems there are a few different views on whos are best.

She's bog standard but read about NGK's, Bosch and even Denso's

Any kind people out there that have experience in these matters?

All the best,

Terry

Oh yes! You may save some money DIY but guarantee you'll lose some pounds of skin!

Buy the plugs from t'internet and get a dealer to fit. So much easier!

Anyone have any further recommendations on this topic? I've been browsing for the OEM plugs and Stoke Audi sells a pack of 8 for just over £100, but if there are cheaper options that do just as good a job I'd be interested!

Stoke Audi have three different part numbers, I'm guessing slightly different products but all the same price:

1: http://www.stokeaudi-parts.co.uk/produc ... 5640D.html
2: http://www.stokeaudi-parts.co.uk/produc ... 5601A.html
3: http://www.stokeaudi-parts.co.uk/produc ... 5621C.html

Other than that I've browsed eBay and used their filter by car search and got a load of fairly cheap options for other VW's / Audi's mostly manufactured by Bosch. Any opinions or experiences would be appreciated!
