I second that motion...
not clear on this: does this set codes for 'lamp out'?

yes, if there is a "lamp out" it will show in the display. But not for a single LED , it will be for the complete cluster. In other words, the rear tail light (main cluster) ,fog light (boot cluster) or the rear break light (again half of mani cluster).

so if all is working properly the led assemblies won't set a check lamp...
that's good

My camera (or me!) don't do justice to nightime shots, either showing the lights as brighter or darker than the eye sees them, they look superb in reality and mimic the existing lamp set up :)

Same here, night time shots not good but the lights are very bright in night time. Just a pity the complete rear cluster do not double up as brake lights :(; to me that would be the icing on the cake and make the brake lights much more purposeful! (IHO)

if I had a lamp I could figure out what it would take to make the running lights come on with the brake lights...
I'm guessing just a single diode would do it...allowing flow from the brake led lead to the running lights, but not in reverse...
if someone had a basic schematic on the assemble: how many leads, their function, etc.

They are and I am pleased. I know that BM might be getting a smoked set in to their store in a few days time if you are interested in ordering with them...they really set off the car and Audi should have fitted them as OEM
