Great news, looks like your car had the wrong rear springs like my mates then.

Deffo the wrong springs. Where the hell the previous owner got them from I will never know!!.

Already sits about 1/2-3/4" lower than previous and if it settles another 1/4"-1/2" lower still I will be over the moon lol.

For anyone wanting to change the rears in the future then you need to remove the bottom strut bolt as well as the Camber adjustment bolt from the arm. Drop the subframe on the 4x18mm bolts whilst supporting it with jack, taking the 2 bolts on the side you are changing completely out whilst the other 2 remained in place but loose. Then drop it down on the jack until you could remove the spring (compressors on spring at this point). Fit new spring and re-insert the 2 x subframe bolts and loosely. Reassemble the arm and strut and repeat on the other side. Once finished raise the jack to lift the subframe and retighten all the bolts.

Changed my H&R rears yesterday back to the originals as the h&r are a little too low on the rear. Not sure if the originals are a little too high now :bash:

Thinking of putting the H&Rs in with a taller rubber spacer/seat to bring them up slightly.

Didn't find I needed the spring compressor at all or needed to remove anything else just removed lower bolt from shock and lowered the sub frame.

Have you got the rear H&R saloon springs fitted to the heavier Avant?

This is how she sits now. Back and front about level which is perfect. Got 10mm spacers front and 12mm rear and so far heard one scrape as I was going over a pretty big ramp!!!.

Thinkni might have needlessly undone the arm with the camber adjustment but I made sure to mark up where it was!!!

My rear with the H&R was about the same as yours but the front is higher by about 20mm.

Maybe the last owner changed the front perches?

I have a felling they did mate as he gave me the old springs in a bag which had 2 perches in as well. Never told me why or that it had been done but I have seen people say the front sits higher without perches so I can only presume they are the B5 ones under there.
