I'm hoping they have a built in resistor. If not I cant use them. Needs to be a direct replacememnt with no add ons for both sets of lights. Will let everyone know when the guinea pig gets them!!!

Good luck, the concern is if it does have a built in resistor it will have to be compact and will get mighty hot! Perhaps enough to melt the bulb socket?

IMO the LED's are not suitable for the RS4. The LEDs are from a newer generation of car.

Just my opinion though....

I think he is just replacing the DRL bulb with an LED variant rather than adding a "chain" of LEDs like the later Audis have.

yes, just the bulb for a whiter and stronger light. Def would not go for LED strips. Wud make a real plaster of a nicel looking and agressive front !!!

Will be careful, thx for the tip  They had better not run hot to that extent, they should not be allowed to market if that's the case.

Guys, Got the LED bulbs and fitted them yesterday. They fit well and work great giving a much brighter whiter light as you can imagine BUT they activate the "bulb out" warning. States "headlight buld out". Pity :( Now removed and looking again.

This place does not sell them any longer. Went on to the PIAA website and found these. Are they the correct ones?

Thank guys. Just noticed today that they do not mention the word "chrome" . I saw yours fitted and they look great. They have a chrome tip which blends in well. Do you know if your packaging actually mentioned th eword"chrome"? Those in the pic I took look blue in colour which I would def not want.
Thanks...
