I have something similar when slowly coasting and pressing the brake it revs high then settles down, is this something similar to the above mentioned ?

Mine was doing the exact same thing ever since I did a carbon cleaned and it turned out to be a crack in one of the PCV hoses under the protective cover. Was only found using a smoke test for the vacuum leak and was fixed by simply heat shrinking over the top of it as the hose it pretty pricey from what i was told.

THIS!

I got a new hose from Audi, but it was expensive for that it was.

Well yesterday i thought id have a go at changing the PVC for one i brought of ebay a few months ago from a s5...
Only when i got my old one in my hand did i notice the other one had the drain nipple missing.... Urghh new one from audi..
Fitted it this morning.. Had more of a pain getting it off than putting the new one back in but i also struggled like feck to line up my air filter after more than anything else..
But Hey quick test drive and KARR is back on track running sweeeeeeeettttttt.... :beerchug: :beerchug: :beerchug: :beerchug: :beerchug: :beerchug:

I will put a little write up later to show how to do it as i spent just as long looking for info on how to change it as doing the fecking job.. :beerchug:

O i borrowed my brothers VRS to pick up the parts 1.9 vrs diesel and well it shocked me a little bit what a nice car to drive.. ( all bit it never felt as solid at all as the rs4 but didnt really expect it to..

Fair play, one little item or leak can do so much to them!
