PS2s, I've not had the opportunity to try the PSS yet - but they'll be my next new tyres.sakimano wrote:PetrolDave - were you referring to Michelin PS2 (Pilot Sport 2)? Or Pilot Super Sport (PSS)? Or a combination of both? I have the PSS tires right now and they're quite good, although lacking in traction from a stop due likely to the large channels.

Considering the the legal limit is 1.6mm I guess you may well have a further 4k left on the tyres. I that is assuming you drive the same way. 12k from a set of rubbers is not a bad!
The 4mm remaining is that on the rears? I expect those to wear quicker than the fronts.
Mine came with continental SC3 tyres. They are bloody noisy but otherwise grip is pretty good in the wet and dry. I am down to 4mm after 8k miles and I have no idea whether that is good or not.[/quote]xxx_mojo_xxx wrote:What rubbers do S4 B8s typically come with from the factory?

To be honest they are pretty much wearing evenly.

I have them on another car (AM V8V). Was sceptical at first but enough people strongly recommended them that I decided to give them a go.PetrolDave wrote: PS2s, I've not had the opportunity to try the PSS yet - but they'll be my next new tyres.
They are an excellent tyre (grip, and feel and noise) . Only thing I can't comment on yet is longevity as they've only been on for a couple of thousand miles
