unfortunately its not straight forward as the different colours indicate the different sizes, you will need to accurately measure your crank to determine which colour combos you need to use.

have a read of this thread http://audirevolution.net/forum/index.php?topic=2624.0

maybe try to pm 65vetteC6 on audirevolution or audizine see if he can give you more info?

This is my crankshaft, on to the rods were marked GGGG-YYYY. Then my technician checks Elsawin, in fact, this is work not easy for me.

But I do not understand, can not found each color the dimension by Elsawin?

In fact, I had seen the dimension on audirevolution.net yesterday. But it disappeared!! Fortunately, I had to take the photo this page. This is not correct data, so delete? I guess

However, my rebuild keep following, I'm ordering new parts in today, this is expensive. Let me want to cry...

I don't mind, I rebuild on 89,550km. My problem is very slight as some oil leaking, in the beginning, so just want change the O-ring and pipe. But the oil leaking between oil sump-upper and lower, so I need to remove the engine from the car. Then more the plans beginning, this is can't stop so I changing the must change parts, like the timing chain, tensioner, guide rail, bearing...does not finish. Even though my engine everything is ok, I still needed to be bought around 330 quantity as 88 parts(include first order), this is loss more cash, I cry. I waiting for the second shipping.

Update

About rod bearing, my supplier told me the 079105701GBLA Blue bearings are no longer available. I keep asking my supplier about this problem. Then Audi told him - the rod bearings as "model specific" and yellow as the only option for rod bearings, I shortened explained, keeping the emphasis and keyword.

Rod bearings have different force, so corresponds is on uppers and lowers as two specs, I think this is a simple physical process. Before, corresponds is yellow/blue the rod bearings by AUDI technological manual. Why the Audi change it now?

Now, I can't buy the Blue bearings from my supplier. So I try to find the purchasing agent, ordered new Blue bearings from Germany. Maybe I can get it in next week.

Update 2

I got the new parts two weeks ago.

IMG_5068.JPG
The second parts. If you see it, I bought double the chain tensioner, is not correct, only need one. Because of this part has two number can use, only a little different is the white plastic length.

IMG_5165.JPG
The Blue rod bearing, the part has been replaced by 079105701GGLB

IMG_5245.JPG
Then measuring every the rod bearing

IMG_5247(R).jpg
IMG_5243(R).jpg
Rebuilding

IMG_5366(R).jpg
70% - 80% finished, maybe :bash:

IMG_5351.JPG
Then I don't know the injection valve is very hard to remove, damage to on the head. This is expensive  , I need order parts again for 8 injection valve with repair Kit. If you will remove or cleansing it, must be careful.

Next, I waiting for the "Equalizing Element Hydraulic of the inlet and exhaust valve" the rebuild.
