P2015 Intakeflapposition sensor implausible

Hi guys,

I've a Problem with my rs4 b7 sometimes my epc and engine light is lighting.

Mistake: P2015 intakeflapposition sensor implausible.

what should i do?

At a guess, a flap position sensor of which there are 2 and positioned on one end of each bank, has failed OR your intake manifold is stuffed full of carbon and jammed the flaps open/closed!!!

I've got this, is it manifold off to replace the sensor?

It is manifold off to replace both sensors unfortunately

Im pretty sure this is what i had & as Richie said it can be due to carbon as mine was, so after a clean & removed flaps MRC mapped it out so no need to replace if your going to have it mapped.

Well I did one sensor a year ago. No more faults until last week. Now the other sensor has gone. So hopefully replace that and il be back up no epc light when ever it feels like it. Bank one you can change on the car bank 2 I think I'm gona have to remove the Dam inlet but I don't wanna look at all that carbon again..
