I'm on less than 25k (from new) but they'll certainly exceed that. Your numbers are way outside normal wear & tear..

i'm about to change mine this spring and I'll have about 37K at that time. These are the OEM's that came with the car (first brake change!).
I need to change all 4, so I'm thinking they wore more from the EDC (heavy, slippery winters) than my driving. I down shift a lot too.

I bought the LW 380mm upgrade from JHM - can't wait to try them.
I'm in Canada BTW.

Its miles. I do 250 miles a week commuting that is typically easy on the brakes as I tend to use engine braking a lot. I went through 3 sets of brake pads for the original front discs.
toyneg wrote:I just went through the paperwork and my fronts were actually replaced at 33k but this set is still going at 93k - I can't find any record of the backs being done, surely they can't last that long? Obv ots now time to replace them all
I almost got 100K out of the rears. I was trying but in the end they were pretty shot and I had to replace them just short of that

I got about 20k out of a front set on my old B7

FWIW, B8 uses rear brakes to assist with stability/traction control, so my rears are now looking ready for a change soon on 16k

Replaced due to squealing issues IIRC.

I bought my car with what I think were the factory discs. They lasted over 40k. The second, third and maybe fourth set lasted no more than 4k each. I had them replaced under warranty each time. After much mud throwing by the dealership and Audi UK I finally got a fix in the form of ceramic discs which are fantastic. It wasn't easy though.

Yeah, front discs, calipers, pads and carriers all replaced under warranty due to squealing
From what I remember, fronts had worn way less than rears are now

20-25k mileage range for me, but then I'm not then I do track the car and have been known to drive in a spirited manner.

That's based on 60k miles in 5 years and only last year having a new set of discs. Admittedly, that disc change wasn't necessary as they probably could have gone for skimming.
Pad build causing brake judder is still a PITA though, even with aftermarket discs and pads.
