1.Yes
2.AmD or Forge is the usuall
3.I got 10mm front 15mm rear and new lockers. approx £160 (AmD)
some go for 10mm /10mm so the bolts are all same length
4.I needed them for the Porkers, and wanted to bring out the rear to match. A worth while cosmetic improvement, as it fully fills out the arches. Increases track width slightly too.

Both of my front spacers have collapsed (locating stub sheared off) thought the wheels needed balancing until I found the spacers in two bits and wheels floating around on what was left of the spacer. Won't be bothering putting anymore on the car again
Too much is bad.
Plenty is better.

Mmmm intresting. I thought RS4 came standard with spacers, or is it the style of the alloys.

Cheers Paul Ive heard of fitting spacers to clear different porkers but ive also heard a lot of probs, don't think im gonna bother

Paul, IIRC we only have to use the spacers with our brakes because of the design of the RSTT wheels. I'm sure that the 17" Avus is OK with this.

correct. Avus 17" you dont need spacers.

RSTT 18" you do, because of the shape of the back of the spokes.

Looks so much better especially the rear. Gives it a more aggressive stance.

personal choice on if you go 10mm/10mm or 10mm/15mm like me.

the latter does mean you have two lengths of bolts

Handling, well ive had 2 S3's now. both with/without spacers/Porkers and the latest one with Quattro GmBh lowered suspension, and it certaintly hasnt had a negative effect on handling. I think its made it more surefooted.

That's good cos Im running 18" RST's and Gmbh lowered.
I was a bit concerned about the wheels catching the arches.
My previously S3 had 17" avis and std suspension and seemed to handle better! or is it just me

you can scuff the front inner arch liner on particularly rough roads, when making good progress

But mines been fine since i brought the tire pressures back up to 36psi instead of the 33psi they were on.

I have run 10mm spacers for a long while now with no problems. Agree with Paul, the car looks so much better with spacers on and I would recommend them 100%. No negative effects on handling either (and no rubbing either on 36 psi) running 18" RSTTs with lowered suspension.

GmbH is equvalent to our Limited, after a company name
Gesellschaft mit begrenzter Haftung - a limited company

Its simply refered as Quattro GmbH suspension (optional lowered 20mm, uprated and stiffened upgrade) to avoid confusion against the standard fitted suspension to quattros...
