Does anyone know if any modifications need to be done to a late facelift S4 to fit B5 RS4 rear calipers? When looking at the parts side by side, I can't see any major difference.
The reason for all this is that I need to get my rear calipers refurbed and I have a set of B5 RS4 rears spare that also need a refurb. Ideally I'd like to send the RS4 calipers away to be done and then fit them to my car when they come back. That way my car isn't off the road waiting for calipers. I can only do this if they will fit though.

RE: B5 RS4 rear calipers on a facelift S4
They are the same calipers I believe.
The calipers assemblies are identical except for the finish, and an anti rotation pin which prevents the banjo fitting on the RS4 flexi pipe from rotating and loosening the connection. The the pin is fittend in a hole drilled in a boss cast in the caliper body. The boss is evident on both facelift S4 and RS4 calipers, but only the RS4 ones have the hole drilled to accept the pin. This would however be a simple thing to do DIY with a little care.
