Here's mine - trouble is it won't suit the S4 due to the fact that the needle colour and backlight are different, but at least it show you where you can stick it :lol:

Got mine in the same place as Nige..it's the AWE gauge for the S4 B5 so the needle is white and the backlight is red to match the dash...

not that bad to fit..take a vacumm feed from the pipe that feeds the fuel pressure reg then run the gauge pipe alone the bulkhead and into the ECU box through a slit cut in the rubber..
then remove the vent feed the hose into the back of the heater duct and connect into the new gauge..take a feed from the fuse box for the illumination when the ignition is put on..
hope that help..otherwise just read the destuctions that come with the new unit...

I have always preached that teeing into the fpr is a bad thing to do as it increases the chances of vacuum leaks and subsequent lean running. Just my opinion but thanks for the reply.

i am new to this forum and have just bought a 2000 s4 and want to fit a boost gauge. could some one post a picture of the pipe that i need to put the t piece in so i can get a reading. cheers

cheers for that had the car almost a week and love it. came from an ibiza cupra so is a different drive. does anyone on here live in the northeast?

Yepp,

I live in Newcastle, have had my 98 Imola Yellow Avant for 10 Months now, still not sure its as much run as the Black RS2 i had for 4 years that RS2MAK is now running. but is still nice if not quite as rare.
