When I switch on my headlights, the drivers side is aiming at the floor. It then adjusts itself to its normal position (matching the n/s)for about 30 seconds, then goes to the floor again.
Any ideas?
Will vag com help?
Thanks in advance
Mike

headlights
Tomorrow is another day
RE: headlights
I think there are some basic settings and output tests that can be be performed but if you are only having 1 move about you may have a dodgy headlight to deal with rather than a problem with the self levelling actuators.

Be careful out there or your arse may be sorry.

RE: headlights
It is an intermittent short in the self levelling wiring. I have the same problem. I have disconnected the headlight range motors as I could not trace the fault. I know that it is a legal requirement to have the self levelling system operational but I have my lights set low so as not to dazzle anyone. Not the best solution but will buy you some time.
