This is excelent info. I'll take some similar pictures of the early type manifold so we can compare.

As far as I can see, this is only relevent to the B5 S4, would this thread be better in there?

I think it's worthy of linking from the B5 S4: Modifications sticky (so I've done it). Top work :thumbs:

Thanks Mark mate, yep your right the S4 B5 forum would be better :-)

just to clarify to fit this manifold in place of the early S4 one you need to;
- move the N249 connection to the connector on the top in the pics,
- cut off and tap both fat connectors,
- block one with a threaded plug
- convert the second to 1/2" barb for the brake vacuum hose
- re-locate the EGT sensor modules

I think that's it, I haven't done it yet, but will post a how to when I have.

I'll move it over then :)

One thing I'll add when I do mine is... I plan to replace my spider hose at the same time with the later version ( minus the f-pipe) so this might connect directly to the BC manifold.

The RS4 / 2001.5 spider needs the "suction jet pump" assembly, the u shaped arrangement of valves and pipework........

9 and 10 connect to the fat connectors I chopped off of the back of the BC mani,
7 to the brake servo and 3 to the spider.

So you would need to build this as well from audi part numbers, I looked at it, but unless you can get one second hand it is prohibitively expensive. If you can get it you will have effectively built a late allroad mani and pipework setup. There are a couple of other small hose differences as well including the one to the N75.
