So am i correct in thinking that all i need to buy is the level motors for the facelift lights?

Just the swaged part. Once you remove your pre-facelifts, you'll know the bit that has to be removed.

It's the pressed section, not a lot. You can use a Dremel or similar. Just remember to use an appropriate rust preventer, and paint.

All done. Bit of a work up but its done. Used the original hid set up from the pre facelift lights. Looks great and works a treat.

Ive got a spare pair of A4 facelift lights. Thats what i used. You will need to buy a H7 Xenon kit tho to replace the prefacelift xenon DS2 fitting bulbs. I was lucky with mine. I found an A4 that had Xenon lights so i just used my DS2 bulbs and ballasts.

yes explain to them that you can do it with a non xenon unit, and just add a hd kit. ok its not leveling, but.... So you could pick up a cheap set of lamps and add the hid kit. looking back at old posts, some have said that aftermarket hd kits are a lot brighter than the oem. views?
