the exhaust manifold is very poor,i have removed a good 3 mm all the way round from each mani exhaust port,should help flow slightly better,inlet doesnt look too bad although there is a fair amount which could be removed on both the head and manifold,im not going that far though

nice of you to take the time and do the pics....
its interesting to see a project from the start and useful to know the ins and outs of a rebuild on a car that we run.
i have rebuilt a few lumps in me time but never thought about the S4 cus its so reliable...
do you have info on torque settings and is it easy to get info on tolerences and tech stuff.

gave it a good clean up,loads of new bits,k04 hybrids,ported manifolds,no cats,lower compression,rods from dahlback,fmic,water/ methanol injection, as well as nitrous,already has 10 bar fuel pump and bigger injectors,was running around the 400bhp previously,no idea what it will run at with this concoction though
