I like the one in the center display is it an add-on or can you do it by adjusting the display settings?

I had a Rallye Golf where with a bit of fiddling with the mfa controls you could bring it up.

Unfortunatly you can't do it with the on board stuff, but these guys made a device to allow you to use it.

I have just installed it, very pleased with it :)

How much did it cost, and was it pretty straight forward to fit?

What else does it offer?

Did not take me long to fit, plugs into your stereo, so that needs to be pulled out, and then a cable onto the stearing wheel (take control of one of the top of the rocker switch). Not done the oil temp part yes as it replaces the current sump plug so not going to do that until I need to change the oil. That will need routing through the firewall (ECU box).

The maker, Andreas has been very helpfully answering questions etc.

It gives you Oil temp, boost pressure, speed, batt voltage. It also has alarms etc, ie oil temp too high, or boost pressure too high. It can also be plugged into the Valentine One radar detector if you have one ...

That's spot on, where did you get that gauge?
It's made by OMORI who also make them with "AWE" logo for AWE.
Available in mechanical or electrical versions in bar or psi. Lighting (LED) is multicolour selectable.

My model is MCO-016-BFC Link here.... http://www.omorimeter.co.jp/english/cataloge-fc7.html

I sorced mine through Omori Nordic in Sweden, bit pricey but I wanted a perfect match, looks like OEM

Here's my set-up but you can get the ones that replace the top of the steering colum and have a pod built in to that.

Has anyone fitted one of these?

Think it matches the look of the S4 nicely, especially as I have the carbon trim. Looks fairly inoffensive and comes in at around £120, much cheaper than some of the more traditional offerings.

You need to get your own chopper out I think.

Another alternative which looks quite attractive is the Timex III (http://carbling.com.au/component/page,s ... /vmcchk,1/) with multi-changeable light schemes (ie: same gauge can suit the S4 or RS4).

They work out about £60 from Oz, but i'm waiting to hear back on the shipping costs.
