Oh bugger - my new wheels don't fit !
Universal spacers are not good at all fr use on these cars,. They can be very weak.
You need some propper H&R or Eibach hubcentric spacers.
I have the same wheels as Gavster, and use 10mm spacers as I need to clear massive brakes.
They spacers are expensive money but well worth it. Its the only way you can go if you want to put those wheels on.
They usually go for around £140 for a good set. I paid £160 for a set of H&R ones.
If you want some second hand 5mm eibach pro ones which are exactly the same as the H & R ones quality wise, PM me and you can have them far cheaper than RRP as I got some with my set of B6 wheels.
Phone around for some prices then give me a call if you need them.
Either way I hope you get your wheels sorted.

There still seems to be a number of different views out there, I have genuine B6 alloys, and had to install 5mm spacers at the rear to clear the uprights, and 3mm at the front to clear the calipers. 235 tyres. but ohters have fitted them with no spacers, I cant see how as if you put a couple of bolts in my rears with no spacers they do not turn!
So I don't know, but the thin spacers do line them up very nicely with the arches, just inside but very neat.
I also had rubbing at the front when lowered, but again ohters have said no rubbing, so to e honest I'm confused!
I know this doesnt help!, sorry.
Nigel.

I have had B6 S4 alloys fitted to my car(B5 S4 Avant) now for about a year.Kept the 235 size tyres on them.Used 3mm spacers allround, the rear just caught the suspension without, and ground some off the front calipers to get more of an angle were the wheel did touch.Plenty of clearance with new pads fitted.I`m not really a fan of spacers but i have never had a problem and still use the standard bolts.
