Remote key fob weak signal

Post by andybnwc » Sun Aug 10, 2008 9:38 pm

My remote has always been weak and even after changing batteries its the same , you got to be really close for it to work. Is there anyway to fix this ?

if you remove the blue interior light and replace it with a white one the central locking should work loads better . HTH :nogarors4: :thumb:

There is a mod to fix this too. Or rather extend the range of the system.

There is a wire that hangs down in the rear bumper area that is infact the aerial for the remote key.

Extend this aerial by grabbing some wire from Halfrauds or maplin and extending it behind the rear bumper.
Why do they call it rush hour when nothing moves!?!

Standard S4, but not for long.
