100,000 Mile Service

Post by BlackShadow » Wed Jun 14, 2006 1:31 pm

What does the 100,000 Miles, 10th Fixed Service for and Audi S4 entail? I was thinking about taking it to my independent VW specialist - Kwikas Motor Engineers, Trinidad St, E14 (2 miles form my place) - as apposed to taking it to QST in Haywards Heath (who did the mods) which is more like 100 miles away going around the M25. If it is simple I'll go to the local guy, if not then QST I guess. Your opinions?

It is only the same as the 20k service.

If not already done, I would also change g'box and diff oils and the fuel filter, along with spark plugs. All in addition to 20k items.

The service book is of course very sparse - maybe someone has a link to exactly what should be carried out at each service?

Yes, such a link would be good. You could have a sensible discussion with the mechanic then knowing what he is suppose to do, and what extra is recommended to ensure our beatiful little S4s are kept in top condition.

I have a check list from my last service, I will dig it out later.

All it says is what it states in the service record.
