Post by redrsr » Fri Dec 14, 2012 3:02 pm

Does anyone know of a fool proof way of removing the dealer Sticker from the rear window without damaging the heating wires??

Pull it off gently, use some of the mrs's nail polish remover to remove any residue.

There is a detailers product called "Tardis" which I've got, excellent at this, but not worth buying just for the one job.

If it's really hard to get off try heating with a hairdryer first to soften the adhesive.

^^^THIS^^^

Heating it up helps soften the adhesive and should pull most of it away with the sticker....if there is a lot of glue left behind then nip to halfords and try AG glue remover or similar product....as mentioned the best out there is Tardis but is expensive and only comes in 5ltrs.....

Check out a product called "Goo gone"

It's incredible at removing residue and gunk and you can buy very small bottles for peanuts.
