Hi all, I bought my 2014 RS4 B8 early last year from an Audi dealer, the MOT is coming up at the end of this month and 'service due' is flashing up....appreciate advice on a couple of questions please! The car has done about 56k, I've done about 9k since I bought it.
- Do you think it really requires a proper service? If so, full service or some kind or interim? Is there anything that definitely needs doing?
- Does anyone have recommendations for specialists around the Bishop's Stortford area? (East Herts/West Essex). My local Audi dealer(Stansted Audi) is just up the road but their quote is £350 for a light service, which seems excessive...

Hello. I'm from Stortford had nothing but trouble with Stansted Audi. They physically damaged by RS4 3 times. I would recommend Porsche dynamics. They are well known in the Audi world, especially on C6 RS6 V10 work.

Oh and sorry you are in for quite a chunk of work. Oil and filter then pollen filter and front final drive are every 20k and plugs and air filter are 60k. Brake fluid is 3 years.

I assume it's had the gearbox done at 40k before you bought it?

Yes that's them. Sorry they've changed names to try and attract non Porsche people.

They do all my cars. Just had my A6 done. 500 instead of 1200 as quoted by Audi Stansted.

Your gearbox and rear diff was due a very important oil and filter change at 38k.

If you have any questions on the car drop me a pm and I'll give you my no. or you can pop over. I have the VCDS tools to check your car or make config changes to suit.
