Door Handle Trim

Post by nhr2123 » Sat Dec 01, 2007 2:47 pm

Anyone else got 'peeling' trim on the RS6 door handles. Spoke to Audi and they said that the handle part of the door trim was not avilable separately? They stated that it would cost £100's to buy complete new door trims???

the coating and problem is common on audi's of this era. i've noticed it starting to peal on my car and think the way to sort it would be to strip the trim and respray with a suitable rubberised paint. otherwise it's dealer markup time....

Mine is the same on both sides. It doesn't annoy me to the tune of £250 though. I might try a breakers as I presume its a standard A6 part.

It's part of the door card so you would have to fit the whole thing !

I'll live with it then. If someone has some of that rubber paint, then please post where it is available.
