Biggest Width Alloys

Post by MHooper16 » Tue Apr 25, 2017 11:49 am

:blackrs4: What are the biggest width alloys you can run on a RS6 C5 Avant? Looking at maybe getting a set of 3sdm 0.05s but worried that the 8.5j won't be wide enough to clear the front calipers without spacers but when ever I select the 9.5j width always comes back as this fitment won't fit vehicle? Any help or ideas? :blackrs4:

What wheels did you go for? Yeah, the 3sdm would still be et35 on the 9.5j as well, just concerned that the reason it says they don't fit is because they'll catch something in board? I don't think the extra poke would do anything outboard.

Where are you looking to buy from? There are a couple of site sponsors on here - Prestige wheels (Birmingham) and Revolution (think Newcastle way). Get in touch with them and they should be able to help you out with fitment.
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!

Shouldn't have different sized wheels front to back on the '6 (unless tyre matching means they have the same overall circumference). It'll screw with the diffs otherwise.

They look good on the Porsche. Not sure about the C5. Maybe if they were a bit smaller.
