Just come across these TPMS at Kufatec. Might be of interest to some:

Just noticed that it says for 4F. DOn't know if they'll work with ours.

The part number for the RS6 C5 is 4F0-907-275 C and 4F0-907-275 B for the C6 RS6. They look the same, but I suspect the frequencies might be different.
Apparently Beru make the sensors (or compatible ones)

yes ones i got were beru. thats same part number www.alloywheelsdirect.net quote but they dont specify the letter. the ones i got were orange. they say the previous ones were grey. thats probably all the letter means!!!

kin 'ell , are u related to bill gates or someone similar !!!! what is the sonos system like , have been sniffing around that myselfMalcolmSu wrote:Interesting picture - i see the RFID transmitter is 433MHz which is the same frequency as most the devices in my home automation system. This means if the signal is strong enough when the car is my drive I should be able to examine what the receiver is receiving, log the pressures and detect any variance! The car should be close enough as there's already a sensor under my front seat that's read by the house when the car comes home (or leaves) - check out the front drive at http://217.155.28.94:8080/stat (guest & guest).Shoppinit wrote:It's inside the rim. No special attention. Just make sure they don't break it. You can change the valve cores, no problem. They are standard.

of all the gadgets I've bought over the years - and you can see there are many! - Sonos is the one that gets used the most on a daily basis and by all the family... It's so easy to use - even my wife uses it. Coupled with a Napster subscription I can play any of 8 million tunes anytime.
It is expensive but I think it's worth it. Don't buy their remote / controller though - I use an iPod Touch.

would have thought the dealer would have done that when they replaced the sensors?!GregR1 wrote:Never thought about re-storing the pressures.
That's what I had - dealer stuck it on their computer and said one of the monitors had failed.GregR1 wrote: All I get is the orange picture of a tyre with a '!' and a line through it.
I get that when I turn the sensors off.GregR1 wrote:All I get is the orange picture of a tyre with a '!' and a line through it.

Yes I had that symbol when I first got the car - wondered what it was - its either when the system is switched off OR, like me, I didnt have any sensors fitted!!!!
So, once I fitted the new sensors, I switched the system off, then on again, then stored the pressures. And (fingers crossed, touch wood and all that) its still working. These were the orange BERU sensors I got from Alloywheelsdirect.net!
