THose logs look a lot better. What's your issue now?

below 3400RPM it makes up to half the boost less than is should. Anyone with a healthy RS6 VAG log that we could compare to? I might just be a little too pedantic :p

The times are a little squashed there

Here's one second gear from 1600RPM till change of gear, you can see it takes a long time to catch up to the boost it's meant to be giving

I'm not sure how intuitive the boost pressure to RPM graph is, but I see what you mean. Looking more closely at your data, it's taking slightly over 2 seconds to get the boost to specified level in the graph above.

This feels too long. Looking at my data again, it looks like I'm taking about 0.5s to get to specified boost. Have a look and see what you think. I might be missing something.

Thanks man, as you say mine is much closer than before, the delay compared to yours as you say looks like about a second or so later it only strats boosting. on a 4.5sec 0-->100 car 1 second is massive.

Small other noteworthy comparrison

you go from 1960RPM to 6480RPM full tilt in 5.15secs
I go from 1960RPM to 6160 300 less full tilt in 6.1secs

Might be due to altitude etc. but i'm still betting on a boost leak possibly ;)

That's what it's starting to look like. If I were a betting man, I'd put money on leaking intercoolers. Or did you change these already? If not, you could put some wagner ones on.

Have you changed the DVs?

DV's changed by Audi, it's still under full Audi Freeway plan, they also changed the vaccume hoses and ECU, taking it in next week for them to change intercooler pipes and check for boost leaks again.

No residue from the intercoolers so don't think they are leaking although it could be a possibility :)

Lets see what they say ;)

Just been looking at some new data from my car. Looks like I've got a similar issue to you, so I'm not sure how useful my data will be.

Have you made any progress on this?

Ok, so it's at Audi today

Cars going to be in for a while

Hole in the AC
Timing Chain
Exhaust gaskets busted
EGT and Lamda
That hole in the intake on the right hand side boost leak
Etc.

So they pulling the motor, told them I want it back like a new car every pipe must be replaced!!!

Good thing it seems like the new machie knows what he's doing ;)

When you say timing chain, you mean timing belt?

What's the hole on the intake you mentioned? Where exactly and how did you find it?

@1280rpm if you in neutral and just slightly have your foot on the gas it would make a "click" sound as if something is engaging thought it was a mount at first but when I found it was in neutral doing the same thing it was a little stranger. They say it's the chain obviously starting to kick up the slack due to wear.
