Re: Clicking front right on braking/set off....at my wits end!
Glad you got it sorted. Mine started a creak a few weeks ago and couldn't seem to get to the bottom of it. Only happened when heavy braking or turning slowly on full lock on both flat or bumpy surfaces.
Was nearly at the point of buying new CV joints and just happened to check the subframe bolts - none were massively loose, but I could get a quarter turn on a couple before they felt tight tight. Nipped them upto spec (110Nm + 90deg and they all seem fine). I think they are torque to yield stretch bolts so replaced with new ones and jobs a good 'un.

Re: Clicking front right on braking/set off....at my wits end!
Mine has just started creaking and squeaking. I did notice it seemed to happen just after going over a particularly vile bit of bumpy and potholed road. There were vibrations coming through the floor around the accelerator pedal.
I will check out the sub frame bolts. I'm surprised the car is still in one piece as all the roads locally are wretched.
