Sounds similar to the issues I was having. Although I have RNS-D. There were about 7 wires terminated in one bullet looking crimp if I recall, passenger side uk car along the transmission tunnel. Below the inner seat runner. Was green full of verdigris. Chopped out and reterminated and got sound back.

What a shameful bodge from Audi.

Without the help from here I would of spent days ripping the car apart trying to find it. I never would of thought to take the seat out and look for wiring along the Transmission tunnel.

I have sound now but still no radio reception on any frequency, Anyone had this before. Anyone have a wiring diagram for the diversity system? I was hoping the wiring fault I found would resolve this problem to but alas not.
