Where are you based buddy?

Shop, I tried a few of those places near me and the reply was a no. One said they can only do Vauxhalls and the other maxed out at 320mm. Ill try a few more places next week.

My advice: if you're going to skim, then get it done on the car by Procut or whoever. I had my previous discs milled (off the car) by someone with a reputation for getting these things right. All the tolerances were spot on, tested both when mounted by the bell and the outside rim ... but the end result was terrible judder (with new pads etc).

Wasted a bunch of time sorting that out. New discs and all was solved.

Looks pretty ... initial results? My rear discs could do with sprucing up so if your results are good I will follow suit...

Enjoy! :D

Spurtle, I did mine recently, it takes a few hundred miles to wear the disc smooth (ie wear off the lathe marks), the brakes felt good during this period, but after that and giving it a really good b road thrashing to bed the pads in they were silky smooth at any speed. I'd definitely recommend it, and its probably the cheapest thing I've had to do to the car!

Why are all the good mechanics a billion miles from London?
No matter where you go, there you are.
