Seen on What Car?. Would this a bit of a worry for RS6 owners (residuals, appeal, etc.), and would you consider switching brands?Best bit of BMW gossip?
BMW is looking to use its 5.0-litre V10 in other cars, and is studying the business case for a M5 Touring estate.

I'd be tempted if the price was right. Not as a replacement for the RS4 though. Maybe as well as
Had a go in the neighbour's newish M5 recently and was very impressed. This surprised me as normally I don't like beemers, but quite liked his.
I guess it will depend on how they hold their money.

Too many toys, not enough time
Sounds like fun, but even jr will admit that NOTHING is faster than the RS4 in the wet (on public roads at least). I've recently been looking to replace my second car and have tried a number of warm hatches (FWD and RWD) and the one thing they've got in common is a serious lack of traction - I take the quattro system for granted these days - its so frustrating booting it out of a junction and all that happens is a little light flashes on the dash saying TC / DSC / ESP / PSM / ETC / have I missed any?500bhp and 2 wheel drive??!! Yes please!
I'd only consider one if it was 4wd. To tempt me away from my RS6 it would have to be a car which I'd rather be driving when it's 9pm at night and I need to cover 300 miles through driving rain with wife and kids on board - with the minimum of fuss.
