About time I said hello, bought the c5 about 18 months ago as a project. Done about 150 miles in that time. Basically it's sat in the garage as I get round to addressing its... Erm issues!

Hi there, yes issues. We'll, let's start at the beginning
Pas leak, oil leak, coolant leak, airbag light, Econ light stuck on, possible leaking intercooler, reverse sensors knackered, cam belt needs replacing, aux belt too and a much needed major service, oh and a wonky headlight. Other than that, she's a real dream.

Welcome along and FON.

Wow, taken you a year to sort those things out

I take it you got it dirt cheap and weren't too fussed about getting it running in a hurry?

Thanks for the welcomes guys,
Correct chunky, didn't pay big money and just locked it away. Only started to fix it about two weeks ago.
Power steering leak is done as is the water leak. Reverse sensor and headlights were an easy fix so we're getting there. :jump_clap:

What was your power steering leak? Was it the rack? That's meant to be a lovely job to do!

It was one of the banjo bolts on the rack. Audi seem to use aluminium washers that had corroded. I put some copper ones in, flushed the system and it seems to have done the trick.

Must be hard work doing that with a cricked neck.
