In terms of the Plus' valuation, decided to keep her another year and then think again. Like many others, the C6 RS6 is becoming an increasingly tempting proposition so we'll see what happens to prices...

Cheers,
Mart.
My statement was based on experience rather than assumption. I have been making sensible mods to my cars for ten years and always ask for 30% of the mod value when selling. It just comes down to being patient and selling to someone who values the mods. At the end of the day, a car is worth what you are prepared to pay for it. Some would say that I paid way over the odds for the car last year, but the seller valued his car highly and I was prepared to pay the asking price due to the mileage and condition.aka_dk wrote:mart, your assumption of 30% recoup on mods is flawed IF you leave them on the car
IMO, if you leave them on the car, you recoup 10% max
This still means I can have the Wagners, right?Ceveman73 wrote:My statement was based on experience rather than assumption. I'm happy to wait a year if I have to, or not sell at all.
Mart.
