I think I am going to plump for the Inchcape Warranty that everyone is on about. I have 2 years warranty for the DRC
Any words of advice before I commit?

We have although you can buy it without having it serviced via the dealer supplying the warranty; I asked.GregR1 wrote:I thought we'd been through the Inchcape warranty issue - i.e. it wasn't possbile to get that without buying it from Audi at the time the car is bought from a dealer?
Full warranty. My point is that I don't care about whether it covers the DRC or not (I am pretty sure it does as the policy talks to suspension and does not exclude the DRC) as I have Audi warranty for this for 2 years.Shoppinit wrote:I'm confused. Is this a full warranty? Or just for the DRC?
East Kent are charging me 120 plus the VAT for the check. It only takes an hour to perform.hkfooey wrote:OK, guys

It really doesnt, but I guess its largely dependent on what sort of character you end up with on the phone. Matt at East Kent was very helpful, and as explained in the 'definitive Inchcape' thread, they are happy to offer it to me purely on the basis that they have performed a lot of my 6's services, and they feel confident enough that they know the car. Basically, the dealership you request it from needs to have had at least a little exposure to the car in the past. They should be able to get through the red tape with Inchcape if they want to look after the car.rob8457 wrote:Yes it is so i have been told by Inchcape.
