Rs6 c5

Post by H8yup » Sat Oct 24, 2015 7:06 pm

Hi I'm new.
I have a rs6 c5 which is a animal, as most of you will know...

I have the solar roof and the windows mist up. Is there a way to stop this. ???

There was apparently a late recall of sorts which stopped the fan coming on when the temperature was low I think. Mine does it too. Demists quickly though.

Check your scuttle panel for leaves/blockages though and make sure you haven't got any soggy footwells.

Open the sunroof. you will then see 2 metal strips (1 each side), cover these with insulation tape. JOB DONE!

Whilst we are on the subject, my car has now started misting up inside quite badly (I however do not have a sunroof!).

If I use the heaters with air con off, it mists the windscreen up. Sometimes soon as I turn the heaters on the windscreen just instantly fogs.

I've tried an aircon bomb, that seemed to make it worse!! None of the carpets etc seem damp?
