RNS-E issue
RNS-E issue
Ive got a little issue with the RNS-E in my RS6, it don`t seem to see satelites all the time, some times you can be in the the for 30 mins and it still says i`m still at home. I i had the unit replace under warranty 8 months ago so i don`t think its the unit, so my thoughts are it the GPS antenna. Are the ones that you fit in the dash easy to fit?

Re: RNS-E issue
Drop the glovebox, stick the antenna on the under surface of the dash (sensitive side up!) and plug the antenna lead into the RNS-E.johnny11 wrote:Are the ones that you fit in the dash easy to fit?
If it takes you more than 30 minutes you're on a go slow

Yep they look good enough to me!
They will only fit one way though.
Some keys are usually labelled (TOPL/R)
