RNS-E issue

Post by johnny11 » Tue Apr 21, 2009 8:22 am

Ive got a little issue with the RNS-E in my RS6, it don`t seem to see satelites all the time, some times you can be in the the for 30 mins and it still says i`m still at home. I i had the unit replace under warranty 8 months ago so i don`t think its the unit, so my thoughts are it the GPS antenna. Are the ones that you fit in the dash easy to fit?

Drop the glovebox, stick the antenna on the under surface of the dash (sensitive side up!) and plug the antenna lead into the RNS-E.

If it takes you more than 30 minutes you're on a go slow

Yep they look good enough to me!

They will only fit one way though.

Some keys are usually labelled (TOPL/R)
