Can you change the faceplates on Navigation plus?

Post by keithly33 » Sat Oct 21, 2006 10:48 pm

I have a navigation plus for an Audi A4 B5 which is not working. If I buy one for an A6 can I swap the faceplates without causing a problem ?

Thanks.

Keith.

Yes, the faceplates can be changed fairly easily.

Hmm, my memory of changing my faceplate over does not quite match Peter's use of the words "fairly easily". Not as difficult as removing the aircon control unit but not far off! The trouble is that to pull off the fascia you need to depress 4 lugs simultaneously, and also the hole is exactly the same size as the unit, so there is virtually no room for manoeuver!
