can any of you guys help me turn on tv while car is moving,i think by finding the speed pulse wire into the tv tuner and disconnecting it should do the job,or does anybody on here know where i can have it activated properly
cheers

i bought a small round chrome pushbutton from maplins for about £3 and mounted it under the lower dash panel, you need to cut the wire from the lower 8 pin plug on the back of the sat-nav, it's a thin blue/yellow wire and should be in position 1, you then take both ends of the blue/yellow and conect them to the pushbutton so you can either make or break the gala wire depending on whether you want the tv visable or the sat nav to be more accurate

the GALA speed pulse wire doesn't turn the tuner off, it merely disables the screen on your nav-plus, you can still listen to the tv channel. the sat-nav should in theory recalculate slower with the absence of the realtime position and speed info from the GALA wire but i've been using it like that for 6 weeks or so with no noticible loss of functionality
