sat nav

hi found a sat nav system for sale. part no 4B0035192k.
Does any one know if this will fit in an RS4 ??? Cheers !

That's the A6 fitment, so I think that the faceplate would need trimming to fit in the 4. Other than that, it will be okay.

If it's an rns-e or dvd navi it will fit,but you must do a lot of rewiring.
Because the iso connectors won't fit.

No, the 'k' is the older, CD-based, RNS 4 system (often referred to as a Navi D).

It will still require some wiring changes to fit. To fully integrate the unit, it will be necessary to instal a TMC module too.

If the RS4 uses CAN bus (I guess that it does), it may well be simpler to install an RNS-E - the wiring adapters are readily available, making it almost plug'n'play, and the TMC module is not then required.

Thanks guys my local dealer also thought it was an a6 unit so i didnt pursue it
