Evening all, changed the rnsd to rnse last year - vast improvement! Have now picked up the Bluetooth kit and wondered if it was a DIY job or should be left to the pro's?
Guy I bought it off said the Bluetooth module would normally sit under the drivers seat but this is quite a lot of hassle (taking seat out etc). Said there is tons of room behind the glovebox and he would fit it there.
Anyone retrofitted? Is it fairly simple or does it involve removing a lot of trim. Is the wiring for the mic already there as the wire is not that long - kit is all oem and Audi branded.

I did mine and ended up fitting it just behind the centre console near where your left leg would be. Doing it again I'd have put it behind the glovebox. 4 screw's to take out for the glovebox and your done. there is loads of room to play with and access to the centre console for the wiring. Only took me about an hour to fully fit mine inclusing the RNS-E. The wiring for the mic should be attached to the cable that plugs into the BT unit. It should be long enough to get up to the over head light.
