Xenon headlamp self levelling ritual...

If some out there (with factory xenons) is bored and fancies an excuse to spend 10 minutes in their car playing with their headlights, I have a request...

Can you please take notes of when the self levelling ritual kicks in ?
Options are:

1/ lights off, turn ignition on
2/ lights on, turn ignition on
3/ igntion on, turn lights on

If they only cycle when the light switch is actually turned on (ie, 3), then do they do it every time or just once for each time the ignition is turned on ?

ok, i am actually sad enough to go out and try this

ignition on then lights on, self levels
leave ignition on, turn off lights and back on, no self level
turn off ignition and lights, turn on lights then turn on ignition, self levels

so it would seem like they self level at every restart of the ignition

When you turned the ignition on, did you start the engine or jsut have it in the on position ?
